The VSP Team

Jim Drewett
Jim Drewett – Editorial Director

Jim is passionate about creating sensational-looking, beautifully written sports books. He is very much a 'hands on' editor and oversees every one of our titles with a meticulous eye for detail. Prior to the launch of Vision Sports Publishing he was already an experienced editor and sports writer having worked for numerous newspapers and magazines and written several books including Flat Back Four with Sky Sports' Andy Gray and Ten Glorious Years with Alex Ferguson.

Toby Trotman
Toby Trotman – Commercial Director

Toby has worked in the publishing industry since 1993 and was Managing Director of Trotman Publishing, at the time the UK's largest careers book publisher, until he co-founded Vision Sports Publishing. A passionate follower of sport – from Premier League football to US College ice hockey – Toby has also completed the London Triathlon and now spends his free time cycling around the Alps, Surrey Hills and Richmond Park.

Ed Davis – Editor

Our appropriately named in-house editor, Ed is a highly experienced and passionate sports book editor who throws his heart and soul into every project. Previously Deputy Managing Director at TriNorth – a sports publishing agency that counts the likes of the ECB, England Hockey and Surrey CCC amongst its clients – Ed is a huge sports fan (and a long-suffering supporter of Portsmouth FC) who has now hung up his rugby boots but takes out his frustration at Southern Trains on the rowing machine most lunchtimes!

Ulrika Drewett – Production Manager

Formerly Head of Purchasing at Penguin UK, managing the supply chain and printer placement for Dorling Kindersley and Penguin UK, Ulrika brings 16 years of production and print buying experience to VSP. A determined Swede, she also oversees production across all our titles.
